R. KAY TALLEY HUMANITARIAN AWARD
The R. Kay Talley Humanitarian Award was established in 2019 to honor the late Ronald Kay Talley, Founder of the Harrisburg Medical Center Foundation. Since 2020, the Harrisburg Medical Center Foundation has presented the R. Kay Talley Humanitarian Award to the individual or couple who best
exemplifies Kay Talley’s selfless dedication, true spirit of love, and helpfulness to others. The Board of Directors of the Harrisburg Medical Center Foundation reviews nominations from the community each year using the following criteria:
» Exceptional volunteer service and commitment to the community
» Tireless efforts to improve the community’s quality of life
» Outstanding personal commitment that inspires others
» Leadership and local community service that goes well beyond professional
or employment responsibilities
