You can make a difference in the life of someone struggling with cancer.

Former SIU Football Coach Jerry Kill was inspired to help cancer patients in need throughout Southern Illinois because of his personal experience with the disease. He and his wife Rebecca teamed up with the SIH Foundation in 2007 to create the SIH Coach Kill Fund.

The Fund assists financially burdened patients residing in the southern 16 counties of Illinois with expenses such as fuel to treatments, cancer-related medical bills, prescriptions, nutritional needs, lodging, public transportation costs, or medical equipment while actively seeking treatment for cancer. Since its inception, donors have helped more than 2,000 patients.
