ABOUT THE SIH FOUNDATION
The SIH Foundation provides support to all Southern Illinois Healthcare facilities and services. The SIH Foundation also supports the Coach Kill Fund, Family Friendship Fund, Cancer Care Patient Support Fund and various other projects helping people throughout southern Illinois. The funds raised are used to enhance and support the organization’s mission of improving the health and well-being of all those in the communities we serve.
The staff and physicians of Southern Illinois Healthcare and the SIH Medical Group are at the side of our patients at their most vulnerable moments. You too can support these patients through a donation to the SIH Foundation. Charitable gifts through the SIH Foundation help:
- Provide funding for capital improvement to best serve ever changing needs, such as the new comprehensive cancer center
- Supply equipment and resources to enhance services
- Provide financial support to fund patient care such as the Coach Kill Fund, Family Friendship Fund and Cancer Care Patient Support Fund
- Fund community service programs
Like health care organizations everywhere, SIH must look beyond its traditional sources of support and supplement revenue with private contributions in order to maintain and improve the level of medical care that the people of southern Illinois deserve.
The SIH Foundation Patient Community Support Funds have distributed over $1 million dollars helping over 13,815 patients in need.
