SIH Employee Giving

Each day across SIH facilities in Southern Illinois, we are growing hope: serving our patients, collaborating with our peers, and improving the health of Southern Illinois through our actions. You work hard to deliver excellence, and collectively, our dedication makes a big difference to our patients.

Another action we can take together to grow hope is by contributing through the SIH Employee Giving Program and supporting our own Foundation's charitable initiatives. The SIH Foundation helps patients in financial need during their care, supports our coworkers in times of need, and strengthens the care that can be delivered in our facilities, so that more patients can receive treatment close to home.

Will you join us as we grow hope?

Consider donating through payroll deduction or a one-time gift. Payroll deductions will start with the next pay period. If you're already giving, there's no need to re-enroll, unless you would like to modify your designation. Your deductions will continue each pay period. And as always, 100% of your donation is applied to the designation of your choice! 

Here are ways you can help:

§  Employee Helping Employee Fund

We care about our colleagues and coworkers. If one of them is experiencing an emergency financial crisis, support from this fund can make a significant difference in helping them get through it.

§  Coach Kill Cancer Fund

Many patients undergoing cancer treatment struggle to pay for their transportation to frequent doctor visits, or for lodging and food during those trips. Your support will help ease the financial burden on patients by covering some of their costs.

§  Nursing Professional Excellence Fund

Your gift can impact patient care by supporting SIH nurses as they complete training and continuing education, including establishing resource libraries and opportunities for professional development.

§  Patient Care Fund

Many people in Southern Illinois are in such financial need that they cannot afford the cost of a ride home or prescriptions needed when receiving treatment at SIH. Your support can help cover the costs of expenses like these.

§  SIH Cancer Institute

The need for cancer treatment in Southern Illinois has grown significantly. Your support of the SIH Cancer Institute will provide the facilities and equipment to help our neighbors and loved ones stay close to home and family during their care.
